Companies use Email everyday, including sending sensitive and confidential information over the Internet.  Yet, there are significant security risks involved with Email:

• Sending an Email over the Internet is akin to yelling all your secrets in a room full of strangers.  Intercepting, reading and even altering your confidential messages is, unfortunately, easy.
• It is possible for someone to "impersonate" your Email address and send out messages that appear to be from you or someone at your company.

AWC Consulting can help you better secure your Email messages by installing and configuring Digital Certificates on your workstations.

A Digital Certificate is a unique electronic "signature" that marks your Email as being sent from your workstation.   Once installed and activated:

• Email messages can be fully encrypted between users with digital certificates.  Encrypted messages can only be read by their intended recipients.
• It becomes difficult to "impersonate" a person's Email address.  As only you have the unique digital signature,  any message without your signature can be treated with suspicion.
